Annual Conclave on Shaping India’s Urban Agenda 2023
17th – 18th October, 2023 | The Imperial, New Delhi
The future of India’s cities critically depends on our ability to balance growth and development with environment sustainability
There are over 400 million citizens living in India’s cities, and it is estimated to grow to over 800 million by 2050 . The future of our cities would be secure, only if we find the right balance between jobs and economic growth, environment sustainability, and equitable access to opportunities and services, all within a framework of democratic engagement. Currently, our cities have not been able to find such a balance.
